From My Window

In 2007, after 25 years in Montreal, I came back to live where I was born in Caraquet, in Acadia. At that moment, I started to “see” the scenery which had been in me for ever. I now observed with a fresh look, in awe and grateful for my new perspective.  From dawn to dusk, I observe it, comforting, faithful, unpredictable and ever changing. I see painting, watercolours, lines, movement, colour and most of all, that wonderful light of the seashore. I choose the moments very carefully, patiently, waiting for the perfect harmony. That moment of grace does not happen every day; far from it, and demands sustained observation. My approach is a quest in constant evolution.
